I am loving this CD from Ooh La La, it's put me in the mood for Christmas (I might put the decs up next weekend lol) The theme over at ooh la la this week is spots and dots and both these gorgeous backing papers were from the yuletide wishes CD as well as the ribbon and bow.

Sepia and promarkers
I have a couple of Lili of the valley Christmas stamps that are vintage-y looking and I decided to have a go at sepia colouring again on this image. I am actually really pleased with the way it turned out and it makes a change lol. I've paired it with free holly hobbie papers to give it a splash of red. It looks traditional but original, for me anyway ;)
I was thinking of trying greyscale next but not sure that would work for xmas cards, but sepia is definitely a win in my book

Ooh La La Challenge - Someone special
I've taken a break from Christmas cards for this fortnights challenge and I have made a card with my mum in mind, she loves the vintage flapper era and the twenties and I know she will love this fab image from the Ooh La La CD Passion for Fashion (I use this CD a lot it's one of my favourites :))
I have teamed it with a sticker from a pack I won from a magazine giveaway and I have no idea what range it's from, which is annoying because it's gorgeous but there's no identifyers on the pack, I'll have to track it down though lol
I've added a distressed flower and some pretty pins as well as some pearls and gems. Those pins btw were £1 for a huge wheel of them in a pound shop, I've seen them sold for £4-£5 at craft shows, just goes to show you need to scout out unusual places for craft supplies :)
Head over to Ooh La La challenge blog to join in and welcome the new DT members to the team, the inspiration is fabulous as always... go go go!

advent calendar
I love my cameo, this is my latest creation thanks to my cutter :) I've used Polka doodle paper to cover the drawers and Portabello road paper for the frame. I've managed to sell it already so I get to make another one for me :)
