christmas eek

This will be a short post as my H key is sticking and is taking me ages to type up then go back and insert the missing "h's" grrr
Anyhoo, here is a card I've made for xmas, it's possibly te 3rd one I've made so I'm cracking on lol. I bought this stamp about 4 years ago and it's te first time I have ever used it, shocking I know because it is so cute.
I've used some summer themed papers from raspberry road ironically, it looks pretty festive. My colouring isn't 100% I havent done any for months and it seems you can lose your touch, but it's still quite cute.

I'm going to enter it into some challenges, I haven't done that in a while ;)

Ooh La La challenge - Christmas Sentiment

It's Christmassy challenge time again and I have used this gorgeous image from the Ooh La La Boys to Men CD rom to make this cute card. I've shown it to my little boy already to remind him Santa is watching so he has to be on his best behaviour. The snowflake stickers are from a sheet of Daisy and Dandelion peel offs I will be using up in the next few weeks lol

The prize for this weeks challenge is the new CD from Ooh La La Yuletide Wishes, I've been lucky enough to work with some of the images from the CD and I have fallen in love with them, so good luck to everyone taking part.

Ooh La La challenge - If the shoe fits

For this card I have used the Ooh La La cd, Shoes in Bloom, using one of the decoupage images and the floral backing papers. I've glittered the image and used a die cut swirl coloured with shimmer paints as the prop for the easel card. Pop over to the Ooh La La challenge blog to checkout the inspiration from the brilliant DT!
I will be blogging a bit more this week now my boy has gone back to school and I'm getting a bit more into the swing of a normal routine :) I've made a few cards todays I love, so I'll share soon.

Ooh la la Challenge - Teddy Bear Antics

This weeks challenge at Ooh La La is to make a card featuring Teddy Bears. This image is from the Ooh La La CD Boys to Men, and the papers are some freebies that coordinated really well with the image. I used my cameo to cut the fence and gate to tie in with the image. I thought the image is ideal for a new home or a moving out for the first time card.
Check out the challenge blog and join in the fun, and also check out the DT inspiration which is gorgeous as usual

Ooh La La challenge - all at sea

I've made this cute little card for this fortnights challenge over at Ooh La La, it features an image of my home town of Whitby from the Ooh La La Watercolour Memories CD. As soon as I saw this image I knew I had to use it and this challenge gave me the perfect opportunity. I needed a sentiment and found this chipboard one in my stash, I'm dedicating this card to my Dad because I really do wish he was here and I think we would have liked it, people from Whitby love to see a good painting of the harbour :)
I've used some shells my son and I collected from Great Yarmouth last summer and decorated the inside with backing papers from the CD and an anchor cut on my silhouette (which needs and airing now I have a new blade, I forsee a day of cutting random shapes as soon as my boy goes back to school)Please visit the challenge blog and checkout the DT creations which are all fabulous as usual and join in the fun
