mothers day cards

I struggled getting decent pics of these cards the sun was glareing in at me this morning and the camera wasn't impressed. I am going to set up a folksy shop to try and sell some of my cards, mostly the ones with my hand drawn designs on but I might try to sell some like these too. I am not sure they will sell at all they aren't fabulous but I am overrun with creations so I will trial it and see if anyone likes them :) I hope they do. My friend sells on Folksy too search for Sarah Westwood and buy her art it rocks (hopefully she will be illustrating my childrens book but that is yet another project I've got on the go lol)
I will post a link to my folksy shop when I set it all up, I may try to sell digi stamps through it if I work out how to do it. I sound like such a technophobe but I am a total geek really

some other recent cards

just for fun

I bought lots of new stamps from craft barn during the sale they were a bargain and super cute, this is one of my favourites. The papers are freebies from a magazine this month. I am off to stare longingly in my cupboards until I see something tasty for tea(or ring for a takeaway lol)

OMG I suck at updating

I have neglected my blog for a few months but I have been card making, tried crochet and even made a wonky sock monkey or two but I lost a bit of love for the internet so haven't been as fussed about putting my creations up on here. I've decided a revamp is in order and to try to get back into blogging.
I made a few cards the other day using designs I made myself, I love the sheep but the cow is hubbys favourite. They are very silly but I can only really draw cartoonish characters if only I had done art at school instead of French, mais c'est la vie.

new promarkers

I haven't updated for a while and my blog is getting a bit neglected. I dont seem to have the time to make anything these days even though I am still jobless lol. I didnt get the job but that's fine I think I was too qualified and they were worried I would run off at the first chance of a better position. and now circumstances have changed again and I am holding off finding a job, it's a rollercoaster at the minute round our house.
But anyway back to lovely crafting :) My hubby bought be some promarkers that are on offer at hobbycraft so I only have a few and I so want more, but it has driven me to more stamping which is always a good thing. The little mouse card was one of the first attempts at using the promarkers, I only had brights and skin tones at this point and my shading is pants (it still is lol) but it is still really sweet I think. I used the front of the paper pack to cut out the flower and layered on the front.
I have made a few xmas cards too I will put up if I get a few moments. Hubby is taking my little boy to see my in laws this weekend and I am staying at home so will have a full day to craft and laze about so might get on top of the million things I need to do *fingers crossed *

Job interview tomorrow

I've had a busy few weeks and some stresses and decided now is the time to go back to work. Posted my details on a jobsite on Sunday and had a call for an interview yesterday. It's only part time which suits me with James, so fingers crossed. Hopefully once the job is mine I can stop feeling stressed and concentrate on making my cards for xmas. The hunt for the camera cable is still on I have a feeling it has been hidden in a place only accessible by toddlers :(

My pocket card for my mum's 50th was chosen as a favourite by Joanne over at the Forever Friends challenge blog. I am so excited I haven't won a challenge before. This has officially made my day. Yay!!
