Digi Choosday - dots and stripes

I have used spotty and stripey papers for my card this week, classic and classy I think. These are both from Dollie Daydream as is the sentiment and it all tied in perfectly with the digi, Kiss The frog from Emma Canning. I did a bit more experimenting with my colouring this week, but the skin tone was a bit strong.

Digi Choosday- holiday

I have built a scene up to make my own holiday scene this week using this cute Emma Canning digi. I liked the idea of a summer birthday card for a teen so I set the guitar player on the beach, I was tempted to try colouring a camp fire but chickened out. I like to think outside the box with digis, it gives them a new dimension.
Thanks for looking, hope you can join in the fun this week at the Digi Choosday blog.

charisma- May flowers

The challenge for this fortnight at Charisma Cardz is May Flowers, and I have used an image from our sponsor The Paper Shelter. I have coloured her in Promarkers, it's not my best colouring I have got used to copics now, but I don't have enough colours especially pinks and purples which are must haves for spring flowers.
I hope you can join in the fun and checkout the DT makes they are gorgeous as ever!

digi choosday - embellishments

I don't like to go over mad with embellishments, it's not my style I like a clean and simple approach so I kept it simple and subtle for this week's challenge. I made my own flowers just using white card and a bit of distress ink and gems, and let the image take over the card (found on the Bonbon Belles CD rom). For my info checkout the DT blog and all the DT inspiration, and join in the fun for a chance to win lovely prizes xxx

cupcake topper - digi choosday

The challenge at Digi Choosday this week is to create something for a child's birthday party. Something that can be a bit off putting about making party decorations and favours is having to make lots and lots of the same thing, but digi images makes it easier to bulk make unique decorations. I have used just one element from the flowers and leaves digi bundle and just diecut and decoupaged and added gems for a pretty party cupcake topper, you could add children's names to the back for a personalised touch.
