Ooh La La Challenge - Recipe

This is my DT entry for Ooh La La Creations and the challenge this fortnight is to follow a recipe, one image, two design papers and three embellishments. I used the fab braces image and backing papers from the Passion for Fashion CDrom, and sewed buttons for the embellishments. I added the sentiment to a curly moustache as a bit of fun, I think the image is perfect for a tongue in cheek male card so the 'stache just sets it off :{

Desmet Designs Challenge - Day at the office

For the challenge this fortnight over at Desmet designs the DT have created Office themed projects and they are all really fab and different. I chose to make a pen/pen holder as a thank you present for my little terror to give to his foundation class. I can't believe he has finished his first year of school already, I'm not sure where that time went.
I've used a jar that used to house giant hotdogs (it went in the dishwasher and no longer smells lol) and have used Raspberry road papers and the wood effect journalling label is from Desmet Designs.
Check out the challenge blog for more inspiration from the awesome DT

Ooh La La Challenge Blog - #109 Whiskers

I am super excited to share with you my first creation as part of the Ooh La La design team, and this fortnight the theme is whiskers.  I fell in love with this teddy bear image from  the Boys to Men CDrom as soon as I saw it and made a pirate themed card. I've experimented with the card shape making it something a little bit different and thanks to Dafont.com I found the perfect free piratey font "Rapscallion".

I really hope you like the card and join in wth the challenge over at Ooh La La, there's amazing inspiration from the DT to feast your eyes on too :)

Desmet Designs Challenge - Wheels

The challenge over at Desmet Designs this fortnight is to make a card or project featuring wheels, and for this I have used the fab caravan digi image available from Desmet designs. I decoupaged the caravan and added an acetate window to peep through. I thought it made a fun bon voyage card. It also has quite a masculine feel to it as well.
Pop over to Desmet Designs to join in and also to take a look at the lovely inspiration from the DT, we have new DT members this time and they have kicked off with a bang.
