crafts for eternity sketch

I tried my hand at another c4e sketch this week I think they give me much needed inspiration. I am not convinced I have pulled off exactly what I was going for Ithink it might look better if I scale it down a bit, but I love the little birdie stamps and the yellow irridescent paper so I might be trying this one out again tonight on a smaller scale :)
Now I have to go and hide the easter eggs before I get weighed tomorrow, I'm tempted to put them all on top of the kitchen cupboards, that way the climb up there to get some chocolate will burn off some of the calories :)

gift boxes

These are my first attempts at gift boxes and probably my last for the big box. Talk about frustration, I struggled covering up rough edges and matching everything up. but the pillow box was easy to make and decorate I might be more ellaborate with my next attempt at that one

easter card for crafts 4 eternity challenge

The challenge over at C4E asked for bunnies as an extra challenge and over on Craftbubble there is a spring card challenge so I've combined the two for this card. It is quite springy I hope :) I've used glossy accents on the bunny and daffodil but it doesn't quite come across in the photo. but ah well it was fun to make :) reminds me of smarties and easter eggs though, not so good when you are on a diet.

even more forever friends cards

I have so much Forever friends stuff knocking about I seem to make a lot of cards using their images, but I can't complain they are very cute :) I made the little square one for a challenge but missed out on the deadline, oops. But that's ok it will go to a special home.

groovy chick

This is my latest ultra girlie card. I had fun colouring the stamped image with glitter gel pens but it doesn't look as sparkly in the photo unfortunately. I wasn't too sure about the balance, the card didn't look right last night but I am happy with it now I've had a sleep hehe.
The pink paisley is stamped and embossed from a stamp I bought at the NEC last year and never use. My April resolution is to stamp more I think :)

I won some blog candy!! eek I am too excited hehe. It's from Emma on Metalic Butterfly and it looks amazing. I never thought I would win especially as I'm not entirely sure how all this blogging works yet, but I am all excited now hehe.

cards for grandad

My latest cards for my hubbys grandad. I got some acetate card wraps in a mystery box from Artymiss and a bit unsure what to do with them but I think my first attempt is ok but a little bit plain, but I can get away with that for a man I think :)
And I finally dared use some of my jolly nation decoupage, I have been putting it off because I don't want to waste it. Silly really seeing as I bought it to use it eventually.
