groovy chick

This is my latest ultra girlie card. I had fun colouring the stamped image with glitter gel pens but it doesn't look as sparkly in the photo unfortunately. I wasn't too sure about the balance, the card didn't look right last night but I am happy with it now I've had a sleep hehe.
The pink paisley is stamped and embossed from a stamp I bought at the NEC last year and never use. My April resolution is to stamp more I think :)

Blog candy win!

I won some blog candy!! eek I am too excited hehe. It's from Emma on Metalic Butterfly and it looks amazing. I never thought I would win especially as I'm not entirely sure how all this blogging works yet, but I am all excited now hehe.

cards for grandad

My latest cards for my hubbys grandad. I got some acetate card wraps in a mystery box from Artymiss and a bit unsure what to do with them but I think my first attempt is ok but a little bit plain, but I can get away with that for a man I think :)
And I finally dared use some of my jolly nation decoupage, I have been putting it off because I don't want to waste it. Silly really seeing as I bought it to use it eventually.

My cheeky son

I thought I would share a video of my little lad I made a few months ago after he got into my crafty stash. It goes to show I watch the shopping channels a bit too much, it's like he is doing a demonstration. It won't be long before he has his own blog bless him.

forever friends challenge

I've made a girly card for the forever friends challenge here I've gone pink mad again.
My picture is a bit on the gloomy side but that's the price we pay for energy saving light bulbs, I suppose there has to be a down side somewhere. I think I will have to start taking my photos during daylight hours in future lol.

It's spring

My latest creations are all springy and bright :) let's hope the weather stays that way too!!
I've just been messing about with diecuts and experimenting a bit with these latest cards, they look simple enough but there's loads of faffing about with diecutting bits and bobs.

I'm back to blogging

I have had some busy weeks recently and have let my blog slide a bit. I have built a craft niche in the bedroom though and my hubby even put a shelf up for me to put my bits on so I officially have to make loads of cards now he had to get the drill out :)
I have just finished my mothers day card for my mum in law so thought I would share. I am pleased with this card I want to keep it hehe. tempted to let my son scribble in this one for me. I hope she likes it though.
